BBB: 17 points third quarter powers GPL past Waverly/South Shore

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) – Great Plains Lutheran used a 17 point third quarter to power to a 58-51 victory against Waverly/South Shore in high school boys basketball Tuesday night as heard on New Country KS93.

The Panthers were led by Sam Hanson with 21 points. The senior knocked down four triple treys. Ethan Kjenstad added 18 points and Alex Heil contributed eight.

For the Coyotes, Carter Comes had a ten-point first and second half for a 20 point night. The senior would shoot fifty percent from the charity stripe. Landon Maag added nine while Dan Dalton tallied eight.

Waverly/South Shore falls to 1-6 and travels to Wilmot on January 21st. Great Plains Lutheran improves to 3-5 and faces Iroquois/Doland in Iroquois on January 22nd.
