Aberdeen police identify, arrest man accused of firing gunshots

ABERDEEN S.D.–The Aberdeen Police Department has identified and arrested the individual who fired gunshots in a residential neighborhood earlier this month.
On February 1st, multiple shots were fired near the 10 block of 13th Avenue Southeast. Witnesses stated that someone inside a dark-colored sedan fired the shots. After the shots were fired, the vehicle sped away.
On February 14th, investigators identified and arrested the individual, but they’ve not released the name of the suspect.
According to Aberdeen police, the individual is an adult male on probation out of California.
The suspect is facing six counts of discharging a weapon from a motor vehicle, all of which are felonies.
