Aberdeen names new city manager

ABERDEEN, S.D.- Aberdeen City Engineer and Public Works Director Robin Bobzien has been hired as the next city manager.
The Aberdeen City Council made that decision following a lengthy executive session Monday.
City Manager Joe Gaa previously tendered his resignation after being hired as city manager in Marshalltown, Iowa. His last day with the city of Aberdeen is Sept. 8.
Bobzien’s first day as city manager will be Sept. 11.
