WATERTOWN, S.D.–More behind the scenes movement on the development of a new multi-purpose ice arena in Watertown.

At Monday night’s city council meeting, Ice Arena Committee Chairman and Councilman Ried Holien talked about the need for the city to advertise for a facilities manager of the new arena…

The proposed new arena would be built north of Hobby Lobby on the north side of Willow Creek Drive.

Supporters hope for a groundbreaking on the project by this fall.
