Watertown police say woman injured in car-pedestrian accident

WATERTOWN, S.D.–A woman was injured Friday in a vehicle-pedestrian accident in the Hy-Vee parking lot in Watertown.
Police and paramedics responded around 11:00 a.m., and found a 58 year-old female who’d been struck by a Honda Civic that had been traveling westbound through the parking lot at a low speed.
The woman was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The Honda was driven by a 79 year-old Watertown man.
He was not injured.
No citations were issued.
