Watertown police say man killed after crashing motorcycle into house

WATERTOWN, S.D.—A motorcyclist from Watertown was killed early Saturday morning when he crashed the bike into a house.

 

Sergeant Trevor Barthel of the Watertown Police Department says it happened at 3:17 a.m.

 

A motorcycle driven by 30 year-old Bryon Manning of Watertown was traveling southbound on 15^th Street Northeast. The cycle left the road and crashed into a home in the 1400 block of B Avenue Northeast.

 

Manning was dead at the scene of the crash.

 

No one in the home was injured.

 

Watertown police are investigating. They were assisted by Watertown Fire Rescue and the Codington County Sheriff’s Department.
