Watertown police arrest man in hit and run accident

WATERTOWN, S.D.—Watertown police arrested a man Sunday night following a hit and run accident in the city.
Police were called just before 7:30 to First Avenue Northeast and Fifth Street where the accident occurred.
A vehicle driven by 24 year-old Oscar Gutierrez Arana ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a car driven by Melissa Sutton of Watertown. Arana then fled at a high rate of speed.
Police located his vehicle in the 2800-block of 9th Avenue Southeast and arrested him.
Charges include DUI, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving without a Valid License, and Failing to Obey a Traffic Signal.
There were no serious injuries in the collision.
