Watertown looking for food and beverage operator to lease space in new airport terminal  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The city of Watertown will soon advertise for a food and beverage operators who are interested in leasing kitchen space at the new airport terminal that’s under construction.

City Attorney Matt Roby talked about the process, called an RFQ, or request for qualifications….

He says an on sale alcohol license can be an option for the food and beverage operator that’s chosen…

The city council will choose the food and beverage operator at their April 19th meeting.

The new airport terminal will open in the spring of 2022.

Watertown Regional Airport (ATY) provides daily non-stop service to Chicago O’Hare and Denver International on 50-seat jets operated by SkyWest Airlines, doing business as United Express.
