Watertown Fire Rescue called to house fire on Sioux Conifer Road

WATERTOWN, S.D. (KWAT)–Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to a house fire on Sioux Conifer Road Monday morning.
The call came in just before 11 o’clock. When crews arrived, they found a doublewide mobile home with an attached two stall garage.
The homeowner reported there was a fire in a back bedroom by a water heater.
Fire crews determined the fire had started close to the water heater, but had extinguished itself when the fire melted a water line.
The fire caused minor smoke damage and minimal structural damage.
