WATERTOWN, S.D.–Another step in the process of developing and eventually building a new ice arena in Watertown is expected to take place tonight.

The city council will consider approving an agreement with the Tegra Group of the Twin Cities to act as a consultant on Watertown’s behalf in the initial stages of the ice arena project.

The site chosen for the arena is north of Hobby Lobby, along Willow Creek Drive.

Councilman Ried Holien chairs the Ice Arena Committee. He says the vision is that the arena will be just one piece of a larger development of that area…….

Tegra’s consulting fees are not to exceed $10,000.
