WATERTOWN, S.D.–Good news on the flood front for Watertown.
Speaking at a city council work session Tuesday, City Engineer Heath VonEye says flood predictions for the Big Sioux River through Watertown have gotten better, not worse this week, as more snow melts in the upper reaches of the river basin…..
Still, VonEye says you will notice flood protection measures that have gone up in targeted locations across the city….
There will be some flooding in Watertown, but nothing like the moderate to major flooding seen in past years….
