UPDATE: Watertown School Board approves Arrow Early Childhood Plan (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown School Board gave final approval to what’s known as the, “Arrow Early Childhood Plan” at their meeting Monday night.
It stems from the November 2023 decision to close Roosevelt Elementary at the end of the current academic year.
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Danielsen explains what the plan will be starting this fall….
Danielsen then talked further about the plans at McKinley beginning this fall….
Board Member Roshal Rossman says it’s a good plan, but it won’t be without some challenges….
The school board approved the plan unanimously.
Still to finalized are school district attendance boundaries for the four schools. That will be voted on at the board’s March 11th meeting.
