UPDATE: Suspect in fatal hit-and-run crash in Willmar, Minnesota turns himself in

WILLMAR, Minn.–Willmar police say a suspect in a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash turned himself in Wednesday afternoon.
Police Chief Jim Felt says the 33-year-old man was cooperative and provided a statement along with the location of his vehicle. A 2012 black Volkswagon Passat with out of state license plates was seized as evidence.
The victim is identified as 52-year-old Jason Jarvis of Cokato. Officers say Jarvis was crossing at an intersection at First Street South and Willmar Avenue Tuesday night when he was hit and died in the hospital.
