UPDATE: SDHP releases names of two fatal crash victims in northeast South Dakota

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of two people killed in separate crashes late last month.

Sixty four year-old Karen Schliesman of Watertown died when the pickup she was driving crossed the centerline and collided with a semi on Highway 212, 10 miles north of Clear Lake on June 23rd.

The semi was driven by a 35 year-old Brookings man who was not injured.

In the second crash, 55 year-old Darryl Hanisch of Aberdeen was killed in a single vehicle rollover crash five miles northwest of Aberdeen.

That accident occurred on June 27th.
