MILBANK, S.D.–The investigation into a dairy barn collapse in Grant County last week is continuing, with the federal agency OSHA taking the lead.

Kevin Schuelke is Grant County’s Emergency Manager, and was the incident commander at the scene……..

It was a chaotic scene as rafters on the east end of the Blooming Valley Dairy barn that was under construction collapsed on workers on the afternoon of September 12th….

Schuelke says this is a multi-faceted inveistigation……..

Law enforcement agencies from several northeast South Dakota counties responded to this particular call, and Schuelke says these types of incidents are something they train for…

Ten of the 21 construction workers on site were injured in the collapse.

One of the injuries was said to be critical, but no updates have been provided due to data privacy laws.
