WATERTOWN, S.D.–The timeline for finding Watertown’s first-ever city manager is becoming more clear.
Liza Donabauer is with DDA Human Resources in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota, the search firm that is leading the process.
She says a key date will be the April 5th city council meeting. That night, a short list of candidates will be chosen by the council to be brought into Watertown for interviews.
She says the candidates will be identified at that meeting by number, not by name, in the interest of confidentiality…
Councilmembers will be able to review the list of applicants about a week before that April 5th meeting…
The city manager will run the day-to day business for city government in Watertown beginning this summer.
The advertised salary range for the position is from about $130,000 to $171,000 annually.
