WATERTOWN, S.D.—A ribbon-cutting is being held this afternoon on a key piece of downtown Watertown’s redevelopment plans.
The Lofts, a four-story, mixed use building featuring 39 apartments and 7,000 square feet of first floor retail space and underground parking will be unveiled to the public.
KWAT News talked about the project with Watertown Development Company Executive Director Chris Schilken…
He says this will bring a new vibe to downtown Watertown….
Schilken began working on this project with Fargo developer Jesse Craig two years ago….
The Lofts are located at 10 North Broadway.
Tours of the building will be given at 5:30 today, prior to “Thursday Night Live” featuring the Johnny Holm Band.
