WATERTOWN, S.D.–Hearings are now underway before the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission on the first of two carbon capture pipelines proposed for the state.
Hearings on the Navigator Heartland Greenway pipeline began this morning at the Casey Tibbs Rodeo Center in Fort Pierre.
A hearing on the proposed Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline will be held in September.
Today, KWAT News Director Mike Tanner talked with Republican State Representative Jon Hansen of Dell Rapids about the pipelines, and his opposition to them.
