Sioux Falls Police: Two children killed, five injured in single vehicle crash

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–Sioux Falls police are investigating a single vehicle crash on Saturday morning that left two children dead and five others injured.
Police and medical personnel were dispatched to a crash at the intersection of East 18th Street and 2nd Avenue South.
A Dodge Durango was eastbound when the driver lost control, colliding with a tree and a house on the northeast corner of the intersection.
Two of the occupants were dead at the scene, and five others were taken to area hospital with severe injuries.
Police say several of the occupants were not wearing seatbelts, and vehicle speed appeared to be a contributing factor.
