Severe weather spotter training classes being held in Codington County

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Codington County Emergency Management, in cooperation with the Aberdeen National Weather Service, will be sponsoring the annual SKYWARN Weather Spotter Training classes March 28th at 7:00 p.m. and March 29th at 1:00 p.m. at the Codington County Extension Center Kitchen.
Each training session will last approximately 1 ½ – 2 hours. You only need to attend one session.
To remain on the list of active weather spotters, it is required that you attend the training classes a minimum of every other year.
There is no cost for this training and pre-registration is not required.
