SDHP: Motorcyclist killed in crash just south of Lake Preston

LAKE PRESTON, S.D.–A motorcyclist is dead after crashing his bike one-half mile south of Lake Preston on Tuesday morning.
The Highway Patrol says the 67 year-old man was northbound on 441st Avenue in Kingsbury County when, for an unknown reason, the motorcycle and driver entered the east ditch before vaulting over an embankment.
The man became separated from the motorcycle and died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
