SDHP: Man dead in crash north of Pierre

PIERRE, S.D.- One person died Friday in a two vehicle crash 11 miles north of Pierre.
Preliminary crash information indicates a pickup and a Jeep collided head-on on Highway 1804. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The 19-year-old man driving the Jeep was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 27-year-old man driving the pickup sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
Names of those involved were being withheld pending notification of relatives.
