Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most lawmakers will attend the session from their computers at home….


Governor Kristi Noem says the bills being heard today will have emergency clauses on them, and sunset dates too….

Governor Noem says the pandemic has blown a whole in the state’s budget. Last week, she said economic activity in the state had dried up to almost nothing…

She’ll also be talking with lawmakers today about federal legislation that’s been passed in Washington…
