SD DOT gearing up for another road construction season (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–It won’t be long before another road construction season is here.

Bryce Olson is a South Dakota DOT Engineer in the Watertown office.

He tells KWAT News there are no major projects in and around town scheduled for this summer like the full reconstruction of Highway 212 the past few years, but there are some smaller projects on the schedule….

They’ve also got a bridge repair project to get done…..

The one big project in this corner of the state will happen in Deuel County…

With a mild winter and not much snow, Olson says the spring construction season could start a few weeks earlier than normal, but he’s not banking on that just yet….
