WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown City Council got an update last night on construction progress on the $36 million Prairie Lakes Ice Arena.
Mike VanKlei is with the Tegra Group, the owners rep on the project….
The arena is being built north of Hobby Lobby, at the site of what was a former gravel pit.
There were questions raised about the suitability of that site, but VanKlei says there have been no big issues…
VanKlei told the council the two sheet ice arena is on track to be open in December.
