WATERTOWN, S.D.–Just over a year ago, the Watertown City Council approved the purchase of the now-vacant Wells Fargo Bank building downtown with the intention of remodeling it into a new City Hall.

But now questions are being raised about whether that building will be a suitable place to hold city council meetings.

City Manager Amanda Mack (pictured) spoke with KWAT News this morning…

Mack says all options are on the table, including holding city council meetings in a place other than the new City Hall…..

She says there are other cities that hold their council meetings in a building other than City Hall…

The city purchased the Wells Fargo Bank building for $1.3 million dollars, but remodeling work has yet to begin.
