Online registration begins today for Watertown’s next big COVID-19 vaccine event

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Online registration begins at 10 o’clock this morning for Watertown’s next COVID-19 mass vaccination event.
It’ll be held April 1st at the Codington County Extension Building.
Eight hundred doses of the Moderna vaccine will be available that day.
People who get their first dose on April 1st will automatically be signed up to receive their second dose on April 29th.

People without computer access who’d like to get the vaccine can call the Watertown Regional Library to set up their appointment.
Thirty nine percent of South Dakotans have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine according to the State Health Department.
