One man killed when pickups collide just east of Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–One man is dead after two pickups collided at an uncontrolled intersection two miles east of Sioux Falls Monday.
The Highway Patrol says one pickup was eastbound when it collided with a northbound pickup at the intersection at 85th Street and Sycamore Avenue.
One of the pickups came to rest on its driver’s side.
An 85 year-old man driving one of the trucks was killed. The 47 year-old man driving the other pickup was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.
The crash was reported just after 1:30 Monday afternoon.
No names have been released yet.
