One injury in Watertown crash

Watertown, S.D.–One person was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital with minor injuries following a two vehicle crash in Watertown.
It happened Thursday afternoon at Kemp Avenue and Highway 81.
A Jeep Wrangler driven by a 33 year-old Watertown woman was southbound on HIghway 81 and collided with a GMC Acadia driven by an 82 year-old South Shore woman.
The driver of the Acadia failed to make sure there was no cross traffic before proceeding into the intersection.
The South Shore woman was taken to Prairie Lakes for medical treatment.
Police did not release the names of the drivers.
