One firefighter dead in Huron blaze

HURON, S.D.–A fire at a commercial building on Highway 14 in Huron has left one firefighter dead.
The fire at Hurd Alignment was fought in 100 degree temperatures Monday afternoon.
Several agencies responded to the fire, including fire departments from neighboring Cavour and Wolsey.
NorthWestern Energy reported the company was required to shut down power to the circuit that powers the South Dakota State Fairgrounds in Huron due to the fire.
The fire broke out shortly after the fair ended Monday afternoon.
No information has been released about the firefighter who died.
