WATERTOWN, S.D.–The South Dakota legislative session is down to its final handful of days. That means a flurry of bills that are approved in the rush to end the session will be sent to Governor Kristi Noem for her signature–or veto.

The governor tells KWAT News before she signs any bill into law, it gets a thorough review by her and her staff, right down to every single word that’s in the bill…..

The governor says the process of meticulously going through hundreds of bills that are sent to her can’t be a one person job…

The main run of the session ends a week from today.
