Noem cuts ties with political advisor

PIERRE, S.D.– Political consultant Corey Lewandowski is no longer assisting South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem as a political advisor.

Lewandowski has been a long-time political advisor to former President Donald Trump.

Ian Fury, the governor’s communications director, issued a statement.

“Corey was always a volunteer, never paid a dime (campaign or official). He will not be advising the Governor in regard to the campaign or official office.”

Earlier this week, a Trump-related super PAC dismissed Lewandowski after a donor accused him of sexually harassing her.
