Noem: Beadle County “on the verge of community spread” of COVID-19  (Audio)

PIERE, S.D.—South Dakota is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19, putting the statewide total at 21.

Governor Kristi Noem says one of those new cases is in Brown County. The other six are in Beadle County….

The governor talked about what some of those extra precautions are….

Governor Noem says there were 58 tests done Saturday, with 51 coming back negative.

She says an additional 29 tests are being done today (Sunday).

Nationally, coronavirus cases have now topped 30,000, with the death total approaching 400.
