New sports betting lounge at Dakota Sioux Casino opens! (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Five Minnesota Vikings alumni were brought in to Watertown Wednesday for the ribbon cutting of the new sports betting lounge at Dakota Sioux Casino.

Vikings legends Daunte Culpepper, John Randle, Chuck Foreman, Paul Krause and Henry Thomas were on hand to help mark the opening by holding a question and answer session with the press, taking pictures with fans and signing autographs.

The large room, known as Dakota Nation Sports Book, is where sports enthusiasts can place their bets on all kinds of different games and teams.

Rhonda Sederberg is the casino’s marketing manager…

She says it should attract a new clientele to the casino…

Sederberg was asked about her impressions of the look and feel of this new sports lounge now that it’s finished, she said…

Sederberg says similar sports betting lounges have opened at their sister casinos–Dakota Magic near Hankinson, North Dakota, and Dakota Connection just east of Sisseton.
