New Kubota dealer coming to Watertown in 2020

WATERTOWN, S.D.— Watertown is getting a new Kubota equipment dealer.
Westside Implement of Clark recently purchased nine acres of land in the Calvin Industrial Park from the Watertown Development Company. That’s where they’re building a new dealership at their sister location, Eastside Equipment.
Owner Kyle Gaikowski says it will feature a 9,000 square foot showroom, 10,000 square foot shop and service area, and a large display area that will face the 20th Avenue Bypass. They’ll carry the full line of Kubota tractors, skid loaders, track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders, lawn and garden equipment and recreational vehicles.
Gaikowski says the process of becoming an authorized Kubota dealer was a, “very detailed process” that included a look at finances and the submission of a five year business plan.
He expects Eastside Equipment to operating in the Calvin Industrial Park location by the summer of 2020.
