WATERTOWN, S.D.–The Watertown City Council holds its final meeting of the year tonight.

The agenda includes a vote on naming rights for a new downtown park.

The Watertown Area Community Foundation is donating a half-million dollars toward the development of the park.

In exchange, the park would be named Watertown Area Community Foundation Plaza.

The grant would be paid to the city in ten annual installments of $50,000.

The park will be located on Kemp Avenue, just east of the Community Foundation offices.
