Minnesotans to receive one time tax rebates this fall

July 12, 2023

ST. PAUL, Minn. – One-time tax rebate payments to Minnesotans are set to go out early this fall.

State Revenue Department Commissioner Paul Marquart said eligible recipients who have not changed their address or banking information from what was on their 2021 income tax or property tax refund returns do not need to take any action.

“If your address has changed, or your bank information has changed, then you need to correct that and change that,” Marquart said. “What we have opened is an online portal where you can go to the Minnesota Department of Revenue’s website and change that and correct that.”

Minnesotans who need to update their information should go online to taxrebate.mn.gov.

The online portal will be open through 5 p.m. July 28.
