Man killed in crash just west of Dakota Sioux Casino

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash near Watertown that left a 53-year-old man dead on Saturday night.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the driver of a 2016 Chrysler 300S was traveling West on 164th Street near 450th Avenue, about 2 1/2 miles west of Dakota Sioux Casino.

The driver failed to navigate the curve, entered the north ditch, and rolled.

The driver died as a result of his injuries.

His name has not been released yet.

The crash was reported at 8:15 Saturday night. The driver was wearing a seat belt.
