Longer-term trend for coronavirus infections in South Dakota is rising

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (WNAX) — While varying from day to day, the longer-term trend for coronavirus infections in South Dakota is rising.

State Epidemiologist Dr Josh Clayton says they have been tracking that:

Clayton says it’s most evident in one location and a certain age group

Health Department Secretary Kim Malsam-Rysdon says few of the positive cases are in hospitals

The latest report shows just over fifteen hundred active cases.
