“It just made sense” Murray State to join Missouri Valley in 2023

ST. LOUIS, M.O. (GoWatertown.net) –= The Missouri Valley Football Conference announced earlier this week they have extended an offer of membership to Murray State University. The Racers Football program becomes the 12th member of the league.
MVFC Commissioner Patty Viverito (Vur-Ree-Tow) says the move just made sense:

Those key matchups include the yearly rivalries like South Dakota State vs North Dakota State and South Dakota.
Before extending an invitation, The Valley made sure the administration at Murray State knew what, in Viverito words, “were getting into:”
The Racers will join the Valley beginning in 2023.
