Iowa man killed in motorcycle crash on Interstate 29 near Tea

TEA, S.D.—A man from Rockwell City, Iowa has been identified as the person killed Sunday in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 29 north of the Tea exit.

Fifty four year-old Denton Schoenbaum was southbound on the Interstate when his rear tire blew out. He lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.

Schoenbaum and a female passenger from Iowa were both taken to a Sioux Falls hospital.

Schoenbaum died from his injuries. The passenger sustained serious non life-threatening injuries.
