WATERTOWN, S.D.–One of the goals of the Watertown Airport Board is to build and grow the number of passengers flying out of the city.

And now they’ll be working with a new partner to try and accomplish that.

This week, the city council approved a two year deal with an Indiana aviation consulting firm called Volaire, to both market the airport, and work on air service development.

As for marketing Watertown Regional Airport, Volaire managing partner Mike Mooney explains what strategy they’ll take….

Volaire will be paid $66,000 a year for their consulting services.
