WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown is in the midst of a building boom of big-ticket projects.
On that list is a new airport terminal, new downtown park, a new ice arena and a new Street Department building.
Mayor Ried Holien says all of those projects will add to Watertown’s quality of life.
But the mayor says what really makes Watertown’s quality of life superior is the fact that it’s a safe place to live and raise a family….
The mayor’s comments to KWAT News followed last week’s city council meeting in which the council heard an annual report on crime statistics from the Watertown Police Department.
