Holien: Watertown growing in all directions (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The city of Watertown is experiencing a building boom this year, from a new airport terminal and an ice ice arena, to new apartment buildings and a new senior living development at Harmony Hill.

 

Mayor Ried Holien says every direction you look, there’s growth…

 

With that growth comes increased sales tax revenue. The mayor says it’s up about 10-percent from this time last year…

 

Holien says much of the credit goes to developers, who are confident enough to invest in Watertown.
