WATERTOWN, S.D.–Work continues behind the scenes on identifying a location for a new Watertown City Hall.
Mayor Ried Holien was asked about it at last week’s ribbon cutting at Foundation Plaza….
The mayor says locating it at the Former Wells Fargo Bank building, which the city owns, does not have a groundswell of support either…
The mayor says building it along South Dakota Highway 20 adjacent to the former Stockmen’s Cafe is essentially over.
He says the public spoke clearly in saying they want a new City Hall to remain downtown.
