Groundbreaking today on LATC’s Archway Project

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Groundbreaking ceremonies and a naming reveal are being held today at Lake Area Technical College for their archway project.
It’s a nearly $20 million project that will include two new classroom buildings, and an enclosed pedestrian walkway over Arrow Avenue that will connect the north and south sides of campus.
Construction starts this summer, and will take a little over a year to finish.
The project is being paid for with private donations and a one-time $7.5 million commitment from the state.
