Groundbreaking held on LATC’s Dana J. Dykhouse Business Center of Learning  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The name of the latest campus expansion project at Lake Area Technical College was revealed today.

 

Groundbreaking was held on what will be known as the Dana J. Dykhouse Business Center of Learning.

 

The $15 million project will include two new classroom buildings connected by an enclosed pedestrian walkway over Arrow Avenue, connecting the north and south sides of the LATC campus.

Cartney says with the additional classroom space, there will be more students on campus…

 

Dykhouse is the CEO of First PREMIER Bank, which along with PREMIER Bankcard, donated $8 million toward the project. Dykhouse says this new Business Center bearing his name is all about the students…

 

State Senator Lee Schoenbeck of Watertown…

 

 

Gray Construction is the general contractor on the project, scheduled for completion in late 2023.
