Grass fire burns along I-29 near Watertown

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown Fire Rescue was dispatched to put out a grass fire along Interstate 29 Sunday night.
The fire was burning in the east ditch of the northbound lanes just before 8:30.
The fire line was just under two miles long between mile markers 177 and 180.
Fire crews spent about 30 minutes getting the fire under control, and were on the scene for just over two hours putting out hot spots.
