Fire damages home in White, South Dakota

WHITE, S.D.–Fire damaged a house in White, South Dakota Saturday night.
They were called just after 8 p.m. to the home in the 100-block of West 2nd Street.
When firefighters from White and Toronto arrived on scene, they were able to determine there were no residents or pets inside the structure.
A news relase from the Brookings County Sheriff’s Department says there was, “a significant fire” in the home, but it was not fully engulfed.
The fire was extinguished, and the cause is under investigation.
