MINNEAPOLIS, M.N. (GoWatertown.net) — The Minnesota Twins have made some preseason noise this year by acquiring players via trades.
One of those was for right-hander Sonny Gray in a trade with the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds received Twins pitching prospect Chase Petty who was Minnesota’s first-round draft pick last year. President of Baseball Operations for the Minnesota Twins Derek Falvey says it was tough to give up Petty:
